So if you haven't been able to tell, I have a soft side for all things ladylike and girly. This is in contrast to my childhood where I ran rampant as a tomboy and my mother struggled to put me in a dress. Now, my shoe collection is a three-digit number and I should probably cancel some of my credit cards.
This cape is, in my opinion, the epitome of ladylike and girly. Added with this gorgeous parasol brought back from Japan by my boyfriend upon my request, I was so excited to be able to combine both of these items into the one photo shoot.
I'd like to think that this outfit is on the way to something from the 50s era, where pinched waists and poodle skirts reigned. Now that I think about it, all that was missing was a pair of lacy gloves and a string of pearls.
Next on my shopping list...
