I believe that these are wise words for every woman to remember. Everyday we are bombarded with images of beautiful women selling us clothes, shoes, jewellery, accessories and beauty products with the promise that all these material items will make us look sexy, alluring and beautiful.
I am currently in the process of completing one of my styling assignments, which sees me conducting a wardrobe overhaul for a girlfriend. It's an interesting analysis to see how one perceives themselves in the clothes that they wear and their portrayal of "beautiful". To me, it's a matter of using garments to construct "outer beauty" in order to feel beautiful on the inside and thus, your "inner beauty" is shown through what you wear.
Maybe some people think that all the talk about "inner beauty" is a heap of mumbo-jumbo. That's okay; you have your own reasons for believing that (and "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder"). I don't believe that material things will make a person happy but I do believe that they can help in making a person feel good, feel confident, feel beautiful.
But at the same time, you have to believe it; because if you do, than others will too.
